Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of traveltip ("the Service"), operated by Houve LTD, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing or using traveltip, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

traveltip allows you to import, organise, and query your personal travel history and saved places. The Service integrates with third-party providers (such as Google) to import your data and uses AI to help you explore and share your travel knowledge.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using traveltip, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you import into or create within traveltip. We do not sell your data. We process your data solely to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You may export or delete your data at any time through the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.

7. Third-Party Services

traveltip integrates with third-party services (e.g. Google APIs). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.

traveltip's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Houve LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may also delete your account at any time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
